Be the envy of the party when you show up with a gift wrapped in this paper from Erin Ruth that I saw over at decor8. The contrasting ribbons make these gifts look so sophisticated. According to her site, the paper will be available in October. I also love her inspirational ideas, like a wine bottle wrapped in paper or place cards with a bit of wrapping paper. It looks like the site is just getting started so I'm sure there will be more to come!

Scrapbooking kits
I saw this scrapbooking kit from Scrapfu over at funkyfinds yesterday and thought, "What a great gift idea!" The kit is $20. Add in a few select pics of you and your giftee and TADA! You've just made the perfect gift.
Good for:
If you really want to go overboard (and who wouldn't with a cute kit like this), here's a link to a scrapbook of the month club at Little Red Scrapbook. Prices start at $27.50 for one month.
Good for:
- Moms (and sentimental dads)
- Friends
- Artsy-craftsy folks
- That person who is always taking pictures of you and posting them on their MySpace page.
- The rabid scrapbooker who has a whole room devoted to hole punches and caption box stickers.
Other kits I found surfing the Web.
Who doesn't love Amy Butler fabrics?! I found some great scrapbooking kits for $10 with Belle and Sola patterns over at HSN (I know, who would've thunk it?).

Let the gift giving begin!
Do you hate giving gifts? Does it seem like the better you get to know someone, the harder it is to find the *perfect* gift for them? It was with this thought in mind that "The Gift Giver" was born. Have a gift giving suggestion? Send it to getagiftgiver@gmail.com or post it on this blog. Need a gift giving suggestion? E-mail your request to getagiftgiver@gmail.com.
FYI...
--Every Thursday is "Help! I need a gift for..." The gift giver will select one letter and showcase potential gifts for that reader.
